I brought my BMW here a few weeks ago. Got a quote from another auto repair shop and then brought it here to Autowerks European hoping to get a free diagnostic check. Didn't get the free check up but did get a quote that was much cheaper than the other service center. After talking to the manager, Tim, I was sold. I have now found a place that will take good care of my BMW. They are very knowledgeable, friendly, experienced, honest, and they're not trying to rip you off for services that are unnecessary.
Fast, reliable and AFFORDABLE repair shop. Highly reccomended if you own a European car.
I highly recommend Autowerks to anyone needing service for their repair needs. I've brought my BMW and Mercedes here for all of my out of warranty needs and they provide dealer quality service for a fraction of the costs.I've taken my cars to countless shops in the bay area and Autowerks hands-down offers the most honest service without overcharging for what is needed. They are a real throw back to a mechanic you can trust, something you rarely find nowadays. They treat you like family, give high quality service, and save you money - can't ask for anything more.
Great service on my 2010 MB GL450. The major B service was almost half of what the dealer would've charged me for the exact same services. We were in early on a Saturday and the car was completed exactly as planned at 2PM. I'll continue to take my MB there for service going forward.
The service is great, they fix only what's wrong, on time, fixed right the first time, and the price is reasonable. After 10 years with them, I feel like family. Years ago, I went from one repair shop to another, until found Autowerks European .
Paul and his team diagnosed at no charge, issues that included head gasket problems and transmission issues. After completing the work, there were a couple follow up problems that Paul stood behind and corrected with no additional charges. My satisfaction with Autowerks is high and I plan to continue my volvo service with them.
My BMW M5 needed a new serpentine (fan&water pump, p/s, alternator) belt caused by a loose power steering bracket. Tim and crew took care of it for about 70% less than what German Motors was going to charge me. If you have an expensive car, but don't like paying for things you don't need, I highly recommend them.
I have been bringing my BMW here for a couple of years. These guys are very skilled at what they do and yet the price is about 30-50% less than what a dealer will charge. Unlike many shops they will not try to sell you work that you don't need and in fact may dissuade you from buying service that can be postponed. In a business where customers have a hard time knowing what a job should really cost, these guys are ones you can trust.
I usually take my car to Phaedrus over in The City (which is excellent and highly rated on this site) ...but I've found a place closer to home that also provides great service and fair prices. I was in desperate need of an oil change, front brakes, tie-rod bushings and a new windshield. I happened to find myself in front of Autowerks European one afternoon and stopped in to ask a few questions. Dan was great, knows BMWs and quoted me a very reasonable price. On top of that they squeezed the work into the next days schedule and got me a fantastic price on the windshield replacement. If you are looking for a good shop in the CCC area you should definitely check these guys out.
Great alternative to a dealership. They've serviced my Saturn and Nissan. They are experts, who can define your service needs in easy to understand terms.
